Escudo Rojo is a Chilean brand launched in 2000 by Baron Philippe de Rothschild. His name is Hispanic literal translation of " Rote Schild ," which means in German " the red shield ", the historical emblem of the family.
The brand wanted to install a brand positioning, and develop to the final consumer, non e-merchant websites for its Chilean wines ( Escudo Rojo and Anderra ).
Escudo Rojo is for a target connoisseurs, in search of extraordinary discoveries, in waiting quality and refinement for authentic tasting moments. Its price is well above the standards of new world wines, its positioning wants to be more high standing. The aim was to build an elegant and differentiating brand universe.
