The brand
Founded in 1984 by three friends ( Jean-Lou Tepper, Jacques and Philippe Nataf Hesdin ), Kookai is a ready-to-wear company for women and girls. Kookai stands for 25 years, for its creations in mesh and its visual identity.
Creative approach
Lively and scalable, the brand wanted to revise his image to stand out through a strong and assertive identity.
The aim was to combine a high standing and graphic spirit with the historic impertinence of the brand. A minimalist and simply graphic design in black and white around a structured grid allow to communicate this high standing spirit, and create an assertive universe.
Rounded white, fonts, a destructured grid, remind the codes of fashion and magazines, and allow the website to be part of a contemporary and trendy universe, while giving the Charter a living and cheeky spirit like a "blog".
In order not to lose the aspect of the e-merchant website, a fixed navigation and access to the basket and account always present have been provided.
Also the page runs, sophisticated, destructured : a quirky staging that allows to forget the rigidity of architecture in favor of visuals and stories, like a scenario.
